Dan Krech
Dan Krech is the President and CEO of HAS. As the former head of DKP, Dan brings his production knowledge and experience into service as the head of production and business development. Dan was the President, executive producer and director at DKP for 21 years. Over the last 2 years Dan was an industry consultant and spent a large portion of his time overseas as the producer of three projects. His track record and experience is the standard in quality that Entrenched warrants for all their clientele. Dan will personally oversee all the projects that Entrenched undertakes and together with the management team provide all of our clients with a project that exceeds all expectations.

Jeff Bell
As Partner and CTO of HAS, Jeff brings his 20 years of experience designing pipelines and creating tools for artists. Jeff most recently served as Visual FX Supervisor for the Focus Feature's theatrical film Nine, due for release in Fall 2009. He acted as Lighting Supervisor, Lead Lighter, and worked with Attitude Studios and the Technology team at Starz to engineer an asset transfer pipeline to enable animation and lighting data transfers into either company’s pipeline. Jeff started his career as an animator, but changed his direction and used his engineering background and artistic talents to be instrumental in the development of Maya software for Alias Wavefront. Subsequent to that accomplishment, Jeff was primarily responsible for the technical growth and direction of DKP, Canada’s foremost computer animation studio. After which, Jeff became the VP of technology for Starz Animation and IDT entertainment, before founding HAS.

Remington Scott
Remington Scott's experience includes supervising computer graphics for top
visual effects studios including Sony Pictures Imageworks, Weta Digital, and
Square Pictures. He is a supervising member of several Academy Award winning
visual effects teams including " Spider-man 2" and "The Lord of the Rings: The
Two Towers," as well as the Academy Award nominated "Superman Returns".
Remington's work from "Spider-man 3" received a nomination for 'Outstanding
Animated Character in a Live Action Picture' from the Visual Effects Society and
he has authored several patents for Sony Pictures.
A 20+ year veteran in the development and production methodologies of new
animation technologies, Remington directed and produced the performance capture
for the first theatrically released feature film to utilize motion capture,
"Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within," and oversaw the creation of the performance
capture of Gollum in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers". Remington is
recognized for creating some of the most memorable digital doubles and realistic
computer generated performances for feature films including "The Watchmen" and
"Beowulf" as well as contributing to the stylized animation of "Cloudy with a
Chance of Meatballs".
Chris "Maddog" DiGiovanni
Chris earned his production stripes at MTV in the fast pace of New York City's live action scene before moving west to join the then upstart CG house Pixar. After almost a decade and 6 Films with Pixar
Chris returned to New York to become a Production Manager at Bluesky Animation Studios. Most recently Chris worked along side Jeff Bell at Starz Animation in Toronto. For Hawaii Animation Studios, he will bring 25 years production experience as an artist and production journeyman to the position of Production Manager.

Jon Lomberg
Jon Lomberg is an artist and art director whose work is known worldwide through print, film, and broadcast, and electronic media. His 25 year partnership with astronomer Carl Sagan produced some of the most important science inspired art of our time, including:
- NASA’s legendary Voyager Interstellar Record, Humanity’s self-portrait launched on a billion year voyage to the stars
- The depiction of Nuclear Winter that helped end the Cold War.
- EMMY Award winning special effects work for the TV series COSMOS, which premiered in 1981 and is still being rebroadcast today.
- Designer of the computer animated opening of the movie CONTACT, selected as one of the 100 Best Movie Openings of All Time
- Creator of the Galaxy Garden in Hawaii. Earth’s first large-scale walk-through model of the Milky Way Galaxy is based on Lomberg’s “Portrait of the Milky Way” mural for the National Air and Space Museum in Wash. DC
- Jon Lomberg’s artwork is on 2 spacecraft on Mars and 2 beyond Pluto. Another of his creations will land on Mars in May, 2008.
