HAS is delighted to announce our participation with client, Big Idea Productions, to produce three episodes of VeggieTales. With the creation of charming animation, these children's videos are filled with exciting adventures that explore positive lifelong lessons. Each story is told in a refreshing and family friendly manner, introducing moral tenets with catchy songs and appealing animated vegetables. HAS passion and experience played an integral role for providing Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Lighting, Rendering, Animation and VFX services.

Hawaii Animation Studios may be new on the scene but it has some veteran players. The Studio was developed as the vision of three professionals with a long history in the industry; John Morch, Jeff Bell and Dan Krech.

We are excited to report that we are currently producing two new VeggieTales DVDs in partnership with Big Idea Entertainment, with whom we share a very happy and long production history. We are also under production on two new innovative projects: a Discovery Channel special and an IMAX Space production. Hawaii Animation Studios is capable of both long and short format productions and is gearing up for a number of other groundbreaking projects. With terrific international relationships established and excitement about our studio abounding, Hawaii Animation Studios expects to bring a multitude of foreign opportunities and partnerships to the island.

To date, Hawaii Animation Studios has been able to attract such widespread and sought-after talent as; CG Supervisor, Remington Scott (Spider-man 2 & 3 and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers); Production Manager, Chris DiGiovanni (The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Horton Hears a Who) and Art Director, Jon Lomberg (Illustrator for Carl Sagan, Contact). With such distinguished individuals in senior roles, Hawaii Animation Studios has been able to help grow and foster young talent on the island. Hawaii Animation Studios' mandate of creating both a vibrant animation studio and an established animation community in the state of Hawaii has prompted a superb partnership with state educators and the university system of Hawaii.

As old hands in production, but newcomers to the island, we look forward to a long and happy future in Honolulu.
